Business Development / Account Manager

click5 Interactive is rapidly growing and we’re looking to add a motivated and results-driven Business Development / Account Manager to our River North office.

Role Overview

click5 Interactive is looking for a Business Development / Account Manager who has a minimum of three years’ experience in consultative, solutions-based selling, as well as a solid understanding of web technologies and marketing. Candidates must have a successful sales track record with agency / interactive experience to be considered. The best candidates will bring an in-depth understanding of online marketing and interactive solutions.

This is a client-facing role that demands excellent consulting skills and comfort with working with a variety of business and technical clients.

This position is for our Chicago office.

Responsibilities

The Business Development / Account Manager will be required to…

  • Qualify prospective customers who can benefit from our offerings.
  • Close new business deals by coordinating proposals and developing and negotiating contracts.
  • Develop and maintain strong, effective relationships with clients.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales objectives.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in sales roles
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Excellent knowledge of the web
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills

Other Requirements

  • Ability to handle multiple pitches and accounts simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Team player who likes working in a collaborative environment
